How we connected
Pernod- Ricard hosts an annual concert dubbed “Jameson Connects Kenya” targeted at generating deliberate and sustained publicity around the Jameson brand and the event.
Riverwood communications won a competitive bid to be the media and publicity agency for the 2018 concert.

The Approach

  • Developed a strategic plan for the event publicity.
  • Provided guidance on the overall PR plan for all events relating to Jameson Connects 2018
  • Acted as a media and Artists liaison
  • Pitched and managed One on One interviews
  • Co-ordinating features, interviews and exposure opportunities
  • Developed and Managed guest lists & RSVPS for artist meet and greet

  • Garnered media coverage on the pre and post event with hits valued at over USD 190,000 in advertising value.
  • Increased sales for the Jameson brand during the season
  • Sold out concert tickets.
  • Increased digital media presence during the period.
