Kenya Association of Hotelkeepers and Caterers (KAHC)

Where it begun:
Our long standing relationship with the Kenya Association of Hotel Keepers and caterers begun when one of our founder Directors worked in the newsroom and covered tourism beat. Charity was the 2006 winner of the best electronic media radio journalist KAHC media awards.

Once she left the newsroom and moved to public relations she headed the Public relations team that managed publicity of the inaugural Kenya Tourism Awards. The success of that event got KAHC interested in harnessing charity’s skill and interest in the tourism industry for their various advocacy initiatives and campaigns.

Riverwood Communications has worked with the KAHC since 2013 in providing strategic PR support and counsel for its Campaigns around Advocacy and Media relations. The Campaigns include supporting lobbying efforts around Tax and levies, Sanitation, Alcohol and Copyrights and Environmental issues among others.
